Thank you you are a god. I fix speakers well... Trying to and this one has me stubbed. It totally fixed it. Guy was like just throw it away you can't fix it well motherfu.... I did... bahaha
Thanks man... Just got mine fixed just AS YOU SAID Was the right side with that sound of broken speaker or blown... so i took off the speaker and turned it around to find a spot where the cable stays tight, wich is when it stops the sound and used CRC QD Electronic Cleaner that is my best friend when dealing with electrical issues like this one JBL Charge3 Works perfect again...
We had a 1st gen Echo in our master bathroom for listening to music in the morning ruclips.net/user/postUgkxABghAEkaIDGZfHRBH3D3rBrlraNmnC71 and while in the shower. I didn't realize how tinny and awful the sound output on the original Echo was until we replaced it with the Studio. It was a sonic upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. Just wow. I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.
THIS IS THE RED RING OF DEATH ALL OVER AGAIN IT WAS THE SAME ISSUE THE SOLDERING! it’s because of regulations we can’t use lead based soldering wich is a double edged sword 😂😂😂
Well, I actually replaced the little speakers thinking it was that and it is still cracly so I will have to look inside to find maybe another loose wire
Sorry having to say that, but you killed it. First, your soldering skills are not good, second, the speaker wires need to move and have to be flexible. You reduced the length of the flexible part of the wire by 50%…. So even this works for the moment, it will certainly kill the speaker i. A few hours.
Gonna check this out today! Mine just started with a rattle/crackle I just couldn't figure out but never thought of the wire behind the connection tabs!
Por lo qué puedo apreciar Este problema pasa con Los jbl charge 3 GG, pero con el otro modelo TL no pasa nada, tengo qué recalcar qué tengo Los 2 modelos y solo el Modelo GG presently esta falla, if you don't understand just translate :D
Dude Just used you tips! Thank for your help, harder part was to learn how to solder without making a mess, which I train a couple of times in older wires. Also make sure to buy solder wire with flux in it (I used 2% flux) Other Than that Pretty straight forward Thanks
dear all, I realised the vibration (sound) mainly from the right side of the speaker where I removed the left speaker as per video and solder. didn't seem much improvement tho
My issue is the copper wire that’s inside the speaker cup I moved the wire and it worked better. Too bad mine isn’t where yours was. Thanks for the info. Amazon sells a replacement speaker for 9 dollars so I’ll just swap it out.
NiceOne! Thank you bro i was planning to buy or convert new driver to my charge 3 but luckily i watch your video and Yes its working again like a brandnew MARAMING SALAMAT #fromphilippines
You are an actual god, my man. Thank you. For those of you out there that don't have soldering tools, I held an opened up paperclip in a pair of pliers. I heated the paperclip over a flame until it was red. I used a pair of tweezers with my other hand to clamp the wire tightly against the board while applying the hot paperclip to melt the glue. It reseated the wire well enough, and it's been working fine. Obviously use caution, and enlist the help of an adult if you're on the younger side because it takes some steady hands and can be dangerous
Cheap ass shit being sold by JBL. I have the same issue with the same channel. Wiggling the tinsel lead clears it, but I worry it's on the cone/voicecoil side 😑
Have a Charger 2+, crackling sound on right speaker, took it out OK... what is that little copper wire called, sure does vibrate when music playing, cant see any tears on speaker itself, so will re-solder all like you did, any precautions? temp on soldering pen? should I be soldering on the inside of that copper wire... like inside the speaker where it joins to the driver? thanks for doing this type of repair, tks, greg
I don’t know how to solder but what I did is I stuck cotton in between that copper wire to reduce the vibration created by the speaker so the cotton holds the copper wire in place reducing the buzzing noise... it’s just a temporary fix because I don’t know how to solder.
I searched for 20 min this video again just to make this comment... It really worked. In my case I just soldered the main cable to the one out of the driver's coil, then hot glued it to the speaker frame. It works like a charm now. Thanks!
Next time pick a better sound, that is not music. Sounds like someone scratching on a wire mesh fence, otherwise video was informative.
Thank you best solution
5 years later and I'm definitely hoping to revive the old charge 3 this afternoon doing this :)

I just took your advice. Fixed my speaker! Thank you Bro! You're much appreciated.
Did u try soldering?
@@KingsleyRodrigueskinZ Yes. I soldered it for a better connection.
